The Surgery generates hundreds of repeat prescriptions every day and we are therefore always looking for ways of making this process as easy as possible for patients and for staff.
We are also conscious of how easily mistakes can be made when ordering medication over the telephone. We are therefore introducing other ways that you can order your repeat medication.
Automatic Prescriptions
Some patients are on regular medication and their prescriptions have remained the same for many months and sometimes years. We now have the facility to issue automatic prescriptions. Every eight weeks we will print your prescription and send it to the Pharmacy of your choice. They will then prepare your medication ready for you to collect. There is no need for you to contact the surgery at all! If you feel that you fit into this group of patients, please discuss your desire to join the scheme with your GP or Nurse Specialist.
Online
Via the form on this page. We would ask you to allow two working days for the requested to be processed.

Hand
All computer generated prescriptions have a tear-off segment on the right hand side. This contains a complete list of your current repeat medication. Simply put a tick opposite the item you require on the list, then leave the list at reception. Think ahead, try not to order one thing every week. It is easier for the staff and you if you order all your medications at the same time.

FAX (028) 3834 9950
If you are unable to get into the surgery and would prefer to FAX your request for repeat medications, our FAX line is open 24 hours, every day.
Telephone 028 3831 0123
After 4th July 2006 telephone requests will be limited to three hours each day. The telephone lines will be open from 9.00am - 12 noon only. Please do not telephone outside of these times, as it will not be possible for us to process your request.
We apologise for the inconvenience that this may cause some of our patients, but we are ultimately concerned for patient safety and wish to limit the risks of issuing the wrong prescription.
We are unable to issue requests for acute medication, please telephone the surgery on 028 3831 0123 between 9am and 12noon.
