Receptionists have been asked by the doctors not to offer any "on the day" appointments.
You will be asked to leave a contact telephone number and the doctor will call you back to discuss the patient's symptoms and concerns.
If the doctor feels that it is necessary for the patient to be seen, an appointment will be offered for later in the day (probably during the afternoon).
These changes were introduced to help protect our patients against COVID 19. Patients and staff felt that the system worked well so we decided to continue to deal with all GP appointments this way.
